Egg #176: Don't Look Directly Into Its Eyes

Egg #176 is the first in a new series called 'Tierische Malstift-Behälter' which translates to 'Animal Crayon Container'. This is a very precise description as indeed, this Kinder surprise is a crayon container shaped like an animal. This one is an elephant whose head splits and flips back to reveal a small collection of four tiny crayons contained within its body.

The problem... the problem (after assembly which was quite simple) here is that whoever designed this toy or was the individual to settle on final colours decided not to go with black or brown or even deep blue for the eyes. They went with 'soulless demon-possessed bluish-white'. This elephant whose whimsical function is quite pleasing looks like he's about to suck your soul with his demon trunk. I suppose it's fitting that his head does that unnerving split and flip thing after all.
