Egg #120: Keep Trying, Little Guys

Egg #120 is one that the guy over at EGG WORLD got on day seven. This is a different one in the series but it operates (or not) in the same manner. It's a bug/monster/something-or-other that comes in one piece. It has a rod sticking through it and you push it down so that the creature clicks onto the base. You're supposed to hold it by the rod and drop it, whereupon it's supposed to spring back up the rod and leap into the air a bit as a result.

Like the one at EGG WORLD this one doesn't work very well. I only got it to work once, and even then it wasn't a very impressive jump.

There is a whole series of these guys and they're depicted as being amazingly athletic and Olympian in their scope. The reality is slightly disappointing, unfortunately, but since it does work once in a while it's not a total disappointment. Just a partial one.
