Egg #65: More Huuuuuii!

Egg #65 is really pretty adorable. The German on the paper reads 'Familien-Ausrutsch' which translates to 'Family Slipping'. It's a little caterpillar family of three going down a nifty little leaf slide. The best part is the expression on the largest caterpillar's face. Apparently going down this teensy little slide is pretty frightening!


Assembly was very basic. The caterpillars have a little metal wheel on their underside that fits in a groove on the leaf so they go down straight every time, and it works really well considering. When you have them on a very flat, smooth surface they can go an OK distance when they hit the bottom but for the most part they stop short when they get there.

    I try to remember to set them so that you can only see the video by following the link here because I usually have the entry queued up ahead of time. Maybe after the project is over I'll go through and make them all public!
