Egg #26: Eat A Sandwich, Hippo

Egg #26 is a flußpferd, or hippopotamus in English. This one is from the Tiere der Wildnis series, which translates to 'Animals Of The Wilderness' in Google Translate. Seems pretty accurate if a bit broad in its scope.

Call me crazy but while I love the weirdness of most of their toys I mostly prefer the straightforward, realistic figurines that Kinder often creates, especially the animal series'. Check that friendly hippo face and the cute little legs. This is a good-looking little hippo even if it's direly underweight when seen from above.
