Egg #143: The Debut Of The Condo Tree

Egg #143 is another first in a series. This is a very clever little series though it is unnamed; it's a tree full of woodland creatures that you build by collecting all the segments but each can stand alone as well. This one is the squirrel of the bunch and he can either perch on top of his solo stump or climb up the side of it.

This was a pretty basic assembly. Nothing very difficult at all with basic snap-together bits. The foliage is just a piece of paper with a hole that you poke onto a branch but the tree would also look fine without it since it's not necessary to the construction.

My only complaint is that this is unnamed and non-descriptive. Not only because it takes away the challenge for me but also because this could have been a more educational tool if handled differently. Kids could have learned about what kinds of creatures make trees their homes and where in the tree they live instead of just using context clues and guesswork. I really do like this series, though, and look forward to getting more of it!
